Home For The Holidays

Southern Nevada resident Twila Pro is the winner of the recent "Home for the Holidays" essay contest sponsored by TEAM RHINO at ERA Sunbelt Realty.

The public was invited to submit letters on behalf of themselves or others as to why they "deserved to go home for the holidays," according to Nelson.

Pro's friend, Christine Preus, submitted the winning entry, which cited Pro's "faith in humanity and her never-giving-up attitude through adverse times."

Nelson said Preus' entry "was not only touching, but inspirational as well."

"After meeting Twila, I cannot imagine a more deserving individual," Nelson said. "She is always giving. She has the least and gives the most. This was a chance to repay her kindness for what she does every day."

In recognition, Pro received three round-trip tickets on any airline traveling to or from Las Vegas from any airport in the United States, for use through the holiday season. She also received a $1,000 gift card.




Shiloh Horse Rescue Las Vegas

We proudly support the efforts of the Shiloh Horse Rescue.

Located on 40 beautiful Mesquite studded acres in Sandy Valley, about 30 miles south of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Shiloh was created to save slaughter bound horses and to give them a second chance at life. Shiloh is run by a mother and daughter team, Jill Curtis and Sally VandenBerg, and a group of hard working volunteers and horse lovers.
